Oh my goodness I should be asleep. Just sayin.

So beginning of last week I had planned to head to Austin to take care of stuff for summer school. However, I discovered an issue with one of my back tires that turned out to be a NAIL, so I had to take it in of course and get it fixed before I could leave. This in itself frustrated me because Spencer had told me a few weeks ago that my tire was low. So before I came home for the summer I took it and and asked them to look at it and make sure everything was okay. And they did and told me it was fine, which CLEARLY it was not. So anyway--

I take it in last Monday. And the nail is in a spot where it can't be fixed so I have to get a whole new tire. So they take the tire off and discover that my brakes on the back are stinking EIGHTY FIVE PERCENT GONE. Like, not there at all. So then they are like, "Well, we better check the front ones." So they do, and they basically don't exist either. ...UM, DANGER MUCH? Seriously guys, that is RIDICULOUS. Praise the LORD that they always worked when I needed them to. And PRAISE THE LORD for putting a nail in my tire, or else I probably would have discovered my brake deficiency the hard way...

Needless to say my trip was delayed and I got my brakes fixed and was very thankful for that nail.

Tonight I went to my high school's graduation. It was real weird to be there and it was a whole lot shorter than I remember ours being. Somehow I feel like Kelci and I are still the only ones who actually know the words to the school song, and in my opinion the phrase, "How Ya Feelin', Red?" should be left in Fall 04 with the State Championship team. Sorry, Class of 2009, but that was OURS.

It made me happy to see them graduate, and to see old faces that I knew accomplish something so big. As they read off names that I recognized, I found it hard to believe that it was already time for some of them to graduate. It's strange to think that soon I will go back to games and concerts and not know any of them at all. Next year all of my freshmen will graduate, which is so crazy to think about.

I always think that I have really interesting things to say here, and then can't remember any of them when I actually sit down to write them down. I feel like I am being terribly lame and that I probably have few readers for a good reason. As I have said before, hopefully it will get better when I actually get kids...

WHICH IS TOMORROW. I get campers tomorrow! How fun.
Pictures are here. Camp home: my bed, my cabin, the view and Kate. Don't get too excited, they are slightly lame.

Campers tomorrow! Sleep for now.

...I am fighting Twitter. I so don't want to get one and have another thing to fool with and update and check. But I might cave soon, I don't know how much longer I can hold out... oh goodness.
